STEM is for everyone!

STEM Explorers® provides STEM after school clubs, pre-school classes and online resources for children aged 3 to 11 years.

Whether it’s exploring the properties of materials to design a flood proof house, understanding what plants need to grow to create an irrigation system or investigating forces to design a rocket,  your child will be engaged in exciting and memorable learning opportunities each week.

Develop their creativity, self confidence, resilience and problem solving skills while nurturing their curiosity.

STEM Explorers nurtures a passion for STEM in children from 3 years old through our three club programmes for preschool, KS1 and KS2 and via our online learning platform.

STEM Explorers supports preschool and nursery settings to introduce STEM to children from the age of 3 years old with weekly STEM classes.

Primary Schools

STEM Explorers offers two club programmes for primary schools:

storySTEM™ for EYFS and KS1

The Explorers' Lab for KS2

What is STEM?

STEM is a holistic learning philosophy that incorporates elements of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a cross disciplinary way. It is about finding solutions to problems which are relevant and meaningful for our children.

STEM is everywhere!

In all aspects of our lives, the towns we live in, the food we eat, how we communicate with our families... STEM effects every living thing on earth.

Nurturing a passion for STEM in young children is vital and it is about so much more than just knowledge! STEM empowers our children with skills they need to be the great innovators of the future:

Welcome to STEM Explorers

Ruth Tsui, creator of STEM Explorers has been working in UK Schools and Nurseries since 2009.

Starting her journey in education working with early years children, she soon became an Outstanding teacher working across the primary age phase.

Ruth left the classroom in 2017 to set up a STEM enrichment education business, bringing hands on STEM to children from the age of 3 years old in her local community.

When Covid-19 hit, Ruth launched an online learning platform which now empowers both teachers (and parents) across the country to feel confident exploring STEM at home or in school.

“I've been home educating for 16 years. We have done science before but I know from past experiences, we have made the best decision to join STEM Explorers"
